Just for the record, mounting a late 40s or most 50s sheet metal on a Dakota/ Durango 4x4 frame adds another level of difficulty to the swap. The 4x4 chassis is another 6" higher at the top of the frame then a 2wd chassis is.

On the 40s & 50s Dodge trucks, the cab sits closer to the front wheels then it does on a Dakota/Durango. If you are doing a 4x4 chassis, I might suggest a Durango frame, it has more HD torsion bars.
