Yeah I was wondering the same thing ? But to try and answer the question everything is going up all the time. Including our age and in some cases time is running out. Can't take the car or the bank account with you so if you injoy something go for it. Who cares?
The truth, not just Swingers going up. Now I don't know if the prices of vintage cars are rising disproportionately to inflation but I think it's probably close. I remember really nice Swingers at $10k in the 90's and early 2000's. But then how much was a dozen eggs then?

I love the '70 Swinger 340's and still really like up to '73 Swingers with whatever engine.
