I bought a Hemi Dart from a well-to-do gentleman in the 70's. All of his parts were the best money could buy. It had a Diamond Stage III maxi-plenum crossram on it and Bauman carbs. A friend of mine had a 65 and Barnett had built his motor. Barnett was the top dog back then. Top dog. You know how Super Stock guys crow about a couple of hundreths. And how long it took them to get there. He put that crossram on his car and went .15 faster the first race with it. He was in love. And of course Bauman designed the hood scoop for the 68 Dart/Barracuda, 69 6 pak and Pro Stock Missile.
