My Coronet is 4000 lbs with a big block and 55 series 17 inch tires up front. A lighter car with skinny tires would be easier to steer but mine was impossible to drive at low speeds with the 16:1 box. I was able to drive the car for years with the 20:1 box but it was a pain at low speeds, especially if you had to shift gears while turning a corner.
