When I had employees, there were 3 rethreading sets i the shop. #1. Snap off $250, #2 MAC tools 165.00, and #3. a lowly Craftsman set $49.95.

Alll three sets were identical in everyway except for the label on the outside of the plastic box. Even the Box and labeling inside were identical and all were made in the USA. I actually called Snap off and asked about it. The guy I spoke with was really upfront and said no way of knowing if there was any difference as they source the tools from many different sources and he wasn't aware of any internal spec's testing etc.
