Just had a customer bring in a truck with a (6.4 hemi rebuilt about 1 year ago) random misfire and doing some diagnostics on it I fingered out air was coming up and out the intake when I put it in the cylinder so I pulled the intake and heads and there is stickey gooey stuff all over in the intake and intake ports of the heads... if I touch the ports and pull my finger up slowly the stuff will make strings for about an inch or inch and a half??? It's in every port and seems to be making the valves hard to move in and out after pulling the springs out, what in the world could it be? I pulled the fuel tank to see if there was something like sugar or something in the gas but it is clean as can be in there, no beads rolling around in the fuel and no funny smells...

I am not causing global warming, I am just trying to hold off a impending Ice Age!
