Nowhere in the ad or in the Wikipedia story (Wiki) on these fine pieces of government contracting does it say that this is a Ramcharger underneath, only that it was built on a Dodge chassis. I had the (dis)pleasure of working on them in the Air Force, and they're definitely a Ramcharger, with 1/2 ton truck springs trying to support about 9,000 pounds in empty weight. Front axle components were kept in inventory. Imagine a stock early 1980's air conditioning system trying to cool the interior of a vehicle built out of 1/2" steel armor and painted olive drab green... On the other hand, it's got top turret where you can mount your M-60 machine gun...

Thats not a Ramcharger chassis. That is built off a w-350 truck chassis.
