So, I am heading to Ontario on Monday night to pick it up. My state DMV website also offered good info. Both sites mention Customs and Border Protection papers when registering and titling the car in New York.

Anyone else have any recent vintage import experiences that are worth sharing?

Wow that link is quite old and the info dated. I would call the US border station you plan on crossing and asking them what the precedure is
