For thirty years I visited my mother in Phoenix every winter and laughed at all the people wearing jackets and sweaters any time it was less than 80°. Went there once in August. Never do that again. I don't like Florida in the summer either but was just there two weeks ago.
It is summer here. it has been 36-37 degrees each day so far which would be a nice February day in Ohio. We dress for wind chill in the Zodiacs and then we're too warm on shore.
