topside Too Many Posts Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 20,880 A collage of whims	I generally trigger my MSD units with a Mopar electronic distributor - it's in their instructions, which are also online. All my MSDs have been 6A or 6AL. Best coil to use is a parts-store 89-90-ish Ford F150 epoxy coil; they have an HEI post and require a bracket (easy to fab) and a pigtail (parts store). Been using the MSD/MP setup for over 30 years with only 1 problem from an oil-filled Blaster coil. It's been a great system for my street and/or strip cars.
