It is one of about 250 cars painted FJ6(total production) I wonder how many different paint colors each plant would paint in a shift? I know they mixed the car models as they went down the assembly line. Divide that across all the plants and the # is not that many per shift. My guess is they put it there to easily ID it as it went down the line. It's from the Windsor plant and if anyone else has a 1971 car painted FJ6 I wonder if they have any similar markings. Found a interesting (long) read about how a Superbird was built as it went down the assemble line. At least they could have put a mopar in the pic instead of a Mustang. linky
