i went with my dad several times when he was team capt for gateway in madison, ill. and i will tell you that every one that qualifies for their team at their home track is a gun slinger. that means they are tough as nails. the division finals pits the best of the best against the best of the best from all the div 3 tracks. he kept a log book for the 1st day and 98% of the racers were within .01/.02 of their dial, either way. but what takes the cake is that on sunday morning, on a dead co;d track, with no time runs and temp around 50-60 degrees, they were still within that range. good luck and start looking through your log books cause you will be around some of the toughest gangsters out there. if you like door to door racing, plan to attend the division finals in your area.
