I worked at a "powersports" shop for awhile a few years back.
Motorcycles, ATVs, SxS, snowmobiles, aftermarket & factory parts inventory.
Was kind of a Mom & Pop, 2 investors, not particularly well-managed, but had a lot of potential had they been serious.
Had 2 good mechanics; one doing mostly build-ups of new stuff, and the other one always very busy with repairs.
I wrote service, handled parts, warranties, inventory, and all the stuff the manager & salesman slacked off on.
Workdays were Tues - Sun, every customer was in a hurry but mostly pretty decent folks.
Money was tight, no benefits, but I just needed stop-gap employment at the time
My advice would be to check the place & management out beforehand because they're usually smaller businesses and some run close to the financial edge.
You had to really watch your pay. 1st time they screwed me we had a talk; 2nd time they tried it I quit, because I'd reached 65 and was done with BS.
