The front suspension is a Speedway Motor G Comp universal unit. The rear is a triangulated with coil over. I used a kit designed for a mid 30s Ford. The same set up on my 55 Gen lll powered pickup. 17 inch tires front and rear. Y’all aren’t going to like this, but I went with a SBC with a 700R4 for power. A friend offered me a fresh rebuilt sbc short block for $300. Since the plan is to sell it when it’s finished I figured why not. It’s also easier to sell with the sbc. The rear end is a Ford 8.8.
