I am in the same boat, just turned 64 and everyone I know says to start now getting my ducks in a row. I have no private insurance as I qualified for state sponsored insurance last year, Illinoise is a welfare state after all. It is going to be interesting for me as I plan on moving to another state before I turn 65 so whatever I do in Illinoise won't make any difference in the next state I go to, so it seems that all I can do is go through the Medicare site until after I move, true?
