We got dual filtration in 2013….. they needed it in 2003.

Working on these things since 1998, and hindsight being what it is, the 14-18 are my favorite all around package.

I FINALLY parted ways with my tried and true 01 2500 about a month ago and stepped up to a 17 3500. I’d tried a couple 2500s over the years (an 07 5.9 and an 11 6.7) bringing them home from work and trying them up the nasty grade leaving town with my fully loaded race trailer in tow (not sure of exact trailer weight, but our full combined weight was 17400 with the 01). Neither the 07 or 11 got me excited enough to go into a payment over matter of fact my 01 towed better than the 11 which surprised me. For the record I built a good trans for the 01 and it was mildly modded with an edge ez and rv275 injectors so it wasn’t stock. I’ve heard the BS saying “didn’t even know the trailer was behind me” ….. well towing my trailer with the 17 I owe a lot of people an apology as I usually was thinking “yeah whatever” when I heard this statement. I’m in awe how this pickup tows.

I had the EZ and 275's for a bit and I liked that setup, but then the bug bit and I stepped up to Diesel Dynamics stage 3's and an Edge Comp. Running the truck with just the DD3's and nothing else to me was how the 5.9 should have come from Chrysler.

The 98 I just bought is still stock, though I think someone has been in the trans by the way it shifts, EZ and 275's are my planned direction, but I MIGHT just use the DD3's since I have them and swap the convertor for one I'm had squirreled away in the basement for about 15 years.

running up my post count some more .
