Are sonic booms a rare occurrence now? Seems to me back in the '60's it was a weekly thing to hear one if not several sonic booms in a lot of places around the USA, that was pretty cool.
Living in SoCal during the 60's, heard them all the time. Almost a daily/weekly occurance.
