Pavilions is a fun cruise in, always attend when I'm in the area. Really packed during the auction.


Not what it once was, the musclecars are usually out numbered by the modern cars in recent years. A lot of the old timers are gone by 6-7 PM, where the younger kids stay much later. The exception to all of this is when the auctions are in town.

For those of us that have been there to see the change it’s disheartening


It’s my understanding that the Pavillions is under new management. I also heard that the new management limits the attendance to 1987 and older. Also, the participant must be cleared out no later than 7PM. Any hotdogging, burnouts, donuts, excessive reviving of engines is met with the boot from the event. I guess the Salt River police is there to keep everyone in check. I’ll find out more when I go today.
