Correcting the rocker geometry by shimming (or machining) the stand height does not have the same effect on the intake and exhaust rockers (even though the same amount is added/removed).
To change only one side require the stand bases to be cut at an angle (different height for intakes vs. exhausts), then re-face all bolts to the new alignment. Has it been done? IDK.
???
The intake and exhaust rockers are different lengths, the same .060" etc. shim rotates the shorter intake rocker more degrees than the exhaust rockers. A lash cap (on either side) may help.
AFAIK, attempting to get "mid lift" (with the rockers at 50% lift when a line through the rocker pad and shaft center is 90° to the valve stem) is impossible because tip scrubbing is part of the original design (some roller rockers may allow this, Jim Miller claims they don't). Making the valve side 50% just transfers the error to the pushrod side.
