supposedly, this is to generate the money needed to "upkeep" those bridges, and to fund "new bridge" construction. this will be done by installing cameras to capture tag numbers, then send you a "bill", which of course, will have some "administrative costs" added on.

Welcome to our world. They've been doing it here for a decade or more, can't remember. If you're not familiar with the roads or signs, it's really easy to wind up on a toll road. Some of them have "demand" pricing, it's goes from "are you kidding" to the stratosphere. No toll tag and they'll mail it to you, it may take them a couple of years but they'll get around to it. YES, that happened to me, TWO years later. flame
