I've been shopping, as well. I started with a wide search and it came down to the best value being the Durango. Also has the highest towing capacity (IF you get the tow package) with the V6 (6,200 lbs). More with the V8, but the mileage suffers. By the time you get a GC L with what I want it raises the price too much.

What I want will likely have to be ordered (SXT plus, 2wd, tow package, and heated seats). Sticker on that is a shade north of $39k.
