Yeah cruising at 75+ can be a little rough on the old stuff. My '65 Coronet has 3.23 gears and a 5 speed manual so freeway speeds aren't a problem but I hate running into traffic jams on the freeway in that car. I suppose if I want to make it a daily driver I could go G3 Hemi with an 8 speed transmission. Actually I think I'm going to convert my '65 Coronet to electric if I keep it. If I put a Tesla drivetrain under it then it would be a great daily driver. Might cost a bunch to do the conversion but it would make the car easy to drive.
