I don't care for tent camping, because of rain and storms and lack of creature comforts. But this is cool. If I was 20 something, I'd do it. Traveling in a vintage car, no motel hassles or expense, no trailer.
Went on a camping trip 5-6 years ago with a tent. It was awesome for the first day, but it turned cold and rainy after that and it went from the best camping trip to the worst and I vowed never to camp in a tent ever again. I LOVE camping out of my 4runner now though, just fold the rear seats flat, air mattress, screen over the windows to keep bugs out, sleep like a baby and its bear safe too!
