Scott Gm used many applications that used a clamp type bracket that went over the barrel, same internals though. I have bought several NOS solenoids without the bracket to repair the non working mopar type with bracket, pretty easy swap. The 1969 GTO ram air solenoid is the same one that is used for the A-12.
