The heads are Indy -1's & the block is an Indymaxx so yeah, there's not a great big hole for the oil to drain back. But I am running a dry sump & one scavenge point is in the valley at the back where oil accumulates under hard acceleration. The vac pump is pulling from the front of the covers & the baffles are well protecting the exit point. The relief is one that mounts to the pump so its not that easy to mount on the engine, but I don't really see that as a cure. I've just added the Moroso oil seperator to try at the next outing. I had it so I just made a small hose & plumbed it in.
