I installed a left hand quarter and dutchman panel on my 69 Bee project this winter. AMD was great to work with. I received one of the first quarters available. The quarter, compared to what else is out there, was a work of art. Crisp lines, great detail around the sail panel of the roof and exellent fit tho the wheelhouse (original) and the doorjamb. The only work required was to repair a slight distortion behind the wheelwell and a slight correction on the door gap. The dutchman (panel behind the rear window) was a different story. The curve didn't match the rear window very well and the ends that mate to the quarter had very soft edges that required a lot of work. They have been making the dutchman panel for some time and I was told that the dies they use are not steel dies, but rather some type of composite that wears as more units are stamped from it. So instead of making a million quarters like the OEs did, the dies might only last for 600 or so stampings before they wear. This could account for the differences I found in the panels.
