Before I went 360 in my '82 Ramcharger I used 360 4bbl heads and stock 360 cam in the 318, it worked well. I also used Doug Thorley tri Y's 114Y, awesome headers, no more trouble than manifolds. I'd also look at stock 340 cams if you want a little more. [/quote
Thanks for the tips, dropping the block and crank off at the machine shop tomorrow to see what they need, then I'll go from there. I may have some 360 heads out in the deep recesses of the shed, have to go treasure hunting... up
