I'm reading it now. Surprised at the roller comments! My issue is a lot of dent, ding repair, plus holes need to be filled with metal. Still interesting read though!
I posted that tongue in cheek but I may actually do it to my Dakota. I've done it to two cars, long before internet. One was the '77 Gran Fury cop car I had (to cover the cop colors) and a '73 Satellite I had just to make it one color.
I painted the Satellite 25 yrs ago, drove it a year than parted it out, I still have the fenders, hood and valance panel. At the time, I painted the inside bottom of the fenders with POR15. Guess which side shows signs of rust (despite being kept inside all this time), yeah, NOT the rustoleum side.
