I’m very disappointed but at the same time not surprised. I foresee our governor competing with Michigan’s governor in a contest for last state in the country still locked down, so our whole show and cruise season is likely canceled.
With many CMC members in NW Indiana and southeast Wisconsin, has there been any talk of trying to schedule a CMC show there this summer.
I remember seeing many cars in IL with Escape to Wisconsin bumper stickers when I was a kid!
Interesting thing I saw today, I went to Dekalb today and I took the “long way” home. While driving through the West Chicago/Bartlett area I spotted what looked like a car cruise or show going on in the parking lot of one of the many abandoned or mostly vacant strip malls that dot the Chicagoland landscape. It was 3:30 so I don’t know if it was winding down, and more cars had been there earlier, but looked like 50-75 cars when I drove by. Maybe we will get some “pick up” type shows here this year?
