If you have the trans pan off, then I like to use a 5/16" allen wrench as a feeler gauge. Pull the lever by hand at the servo, and put the allen wrench between the servo pin and the lever. This eliminates the feel of tightening, then backing off a set amount for each lever ratio.


Do a standard 2 or 2 1/2 turns off from 72inlb. Then measure it. Then you know exactly what the right adjustment is when the pan is on it.


If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.
