Any hood you buy is not going to be great, but unless you go with the expensive ASC&P hood, the Year One hood is probably your best choice. I've had to spend a lot at the body shop getting mine straight though, and had to add 3/8" to the leading edge of the hood to close the gap at the header panel. I don't really think they looked good brand new in 1970 though... so beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess.

Do NOT use stock springs, and if you really don't want a warped hood, don't use springs at all.
