Not knowing what CFM the carb is has a lot to do with my thinking it was not making a lot of power, what CFM is it?
The smallest restriction on the intake side of air and fuel will be the limiting factor on power and fuel and air flow

I've never built or race a motor with a blow through carb with either a centrifugal supercharger or turbos, my only blower experience is with pump gas roots blowers on 4 different motors, 3 motors with carbs and one with EFI

None of them made over 2.0 HP per C.I. either, let alone 3.+ HP per C.I.

I am probably to use to hearing guys racing heads up with turbos and procharger on methanol making 6.+ HP per C.I. with a lot more boost
