How cool is this?! A friend from work is pulling his old Road Runner out of the mothballs to work on it. He pulled the motor to rebuild it, so I told him I'd spray the engine bay while the motor was out if he wanted. He brought it up to me and here it is. Fresh out of 1974. The car has a patina, but to me is SO COOL! It brings me back to the early 70s the way it looks! (The "Boogie" and road runner are both painted on, not stickers.)
I've encouraged him to put the motor back in and drive it and enjoy it the way it is. He is considering it....
I know for myself, I'll often walk by nicely restored cars at shows to see the ones like this.... Time machines!
