You can probably get away with fitech on that engine because of the big cubic inches. That is a big cam for a 360 but IMO way less radical with 500 inches. There is a certain range of vacuum signal that a preprogrammed unit like fitech will be able to work with, once you find your way outside of that range you will wish you had something with a more programable fuel map.
