I'm sure with some effort you can find ones cheaper than that.
In the comments for the Summit covers is this gem
"Good valve covers, good quality. Only problem they do not clear aftermarket rocker shaft. "
I didn't see that comment at Summit. That seems like it would be an error on the buyer as Summit clearly shows the dimensions of the cover.
That's the problem with a lot of comments on Summit's stuff. Operator error. Either they ordered the wrong size, didn't install it correctly or once in a blue moon the part was defective. Been dealing with Summit for 20 years and never had a problem but have seen plenty of people blame them for their own stupidity.
