Is there a very safe limit amount of nitrous? Well built motor with forged pistons ,high compression. Would like to try,but don't want to be a bigger chance of blowing my motor.Just a thought.thanks.
The best advice I can give is call someone like Nitrous Outlet or Nitrous Express and tell them your combo and what you want to do. Different delivery systems, plates and solenoids all require different setups and jetting.
The biggest thing to consider once you are over the fairly easy 150 shot is ring gap! Make sure and follow what the piston manufacturer recommends or you will butt the end gaps on the rings and break pistons!
Timing and plug choice is also key, but the company you choose will tell you what is safe.
We started playing with 100 shot and then 150 last year and it's a lot of fun!
