If you want to remove the roof so it can be put back on and look like is was never off grind the body putty off of the front wind shield posts and the C pillar between side windows and rear back glass and remove the factory spot welds and reuse those holes to put it back on
The better race car shops the due complete SFI cages use that method so they can weld the top of all the bars
