You obviously MISSED that while PIMPING your part which is not correct for the year car at least one of the posters has ...

I find these parts not FLAT , even a knew one , I run all of them over a piece of fine emory cloth on a surface plate in a figure 8 pattern till i get a clean gasket surface , never a problem sealing one unless its CHROME .
