Anymore, tire sizes are changing so rapidly that the above bolded can be pretty relevant to continued availability. If you can find a size that was available OEM on a vehicle, or better yet, several vehicles, the odds of it being around longer are much improved over an oddball size, perfect fit, but diminishing availability tire.
