I’ve put 48k on my 2015.

The failure rate on crankshafts has been as high as 214 a month. Which doesn’t sound like a lot but they only sold 104k units between the affected years.

If you compare the failure numbers vs Cummins trucks it’s outrageous.

There is a ton of emails back and forth in the public record between epa and FCA.

There is a settlement pending awarding cash to 2014-2016 owners who bought trucks that were not epa compliant. What is most important in the settlement is the additional warranty on emissions components that are huge $. Nit does not include the engine itself but all emissions heads and fuel pump. This is making me consider keeping mine. Note the basic engine warranty is 5years 100k.

My mileage sucks but it is more to do with my now short commute.

I wouldn’t buy another one and note all of this is from memory if you look at my previous posts you’ll find potentially more accurate numbers linked to other sources.
