Minimum .024 steel or .032 aluminum. It is supposed to be fitted and made to isolate the trunk from the cab, not just be some half a$$ piece of metal stuck in there for looks. You can still put the factory seats in there, but from a safety standpoint, a factory seat back will not do the job.
