Hi all,

I've just had a new 440 built, and want to use a lower-stall torque converter than the 3,000 rpm that was in it previously. My engine is making 448 hp @ 5,000 rpm, and 507 lb ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. It's a 440-6, going into my '71 Satellite, and will be street driven 99.9% of the time. I want a stall speed of 2300-2600 rpm, and am looking at the following two converters:

B&M Holeshot 2400

Hughes Performance Street Master

Any opinions, pro or con, would be appreciated. Thanks!

Roger
