Instead of reaming the hole to size and then pressing in a bushing, they could just hog out the crank and then tap a cheapo bearing into the existing flywheel register.


Obviously you don't know that this bearing fits in the machined index for the torque convertor. The gain is any crank can be used with a 4sp. Just check the depth of the pilot hole so it clears the input shaft.
