Had a Powerglide built for our BB Mopar. BTE case, Reid Bell (for BB Mopar) and JW spacer and fexplate. The car has a .090 midplate.

Had a converter built bu TSI. Had them build it for the .090 midplate.

Installed the trans and converter last night and I have literally zero clearance to move the converter in and out. We like to set them up for 1/8" in and out but at best I have .010

Has anyone else ran into something similar? It seems that if I had them build the converter for no midplate it would have fit pretty much perfect?

We confirmed the converter was installed into the trans all the way engaging the pump gears and that the snout fit the JW spacer as it should and it spins freely. Just not the in and out we needed????
