I've never used or adjusted a T/A shifter, I have use both the Winters and Fairbanks, the main thing I like about both of them is you can adjust the linkage so it is dead on within one revolution of a turn on the cable and it will be exactly dead nuts in every gear when you shift, unlike others I have used and gave up on
