Update.

So I start the car. Got up to temperature, and Tuned the carburetor to make sure everything was good. Mind you, this car has been off the road and not really driving much in the last 7 years. The car comes up to temperature, and it is lunging a little bit forward while it is in park. I put it in reverse and back out of the garage and then I went from drive to reverse hard a couple of times each way. Next thing you know everything is running free and the motor is revving properly in park. It almost felt like putting it in reverse and slamming it a couple of times each way broke whatever was in there loose. Something was bound up. I took the car down the road back and forth for about 20 minutes. All seems well. Is it possible for the clutch to disengage itself or get stuck? I don't know much about them.
