I am thinking of putting fuel injection on my 440. What is the best kit? The engine is a 440 .030 over. 9.75:1 compression. Iron open chamber heads ported using the old MP templates. MP 484 purple stick with 1.6:1 roller rockers. Performer RPM intake. Holley 800 DP carb. Timing is 38 total, 21 initial and 17 mechanical.
I had an old Holley ProJection on it and it ran terrible, it could not learn the low vacuum at idle. Looking for something that can learn my engine combo.
Fuel pump is a Mallory 140 pump with a return regulator.

Go with the Holley Sniper, either by itself for $1K or buy the one that includes the fuel system for $1260, but you better buy it before the Holley Days promotion ends at the end of December.
The Sniper handles low vacuum engines very well because you can connect with a laptop and tune the low RPM area yourself. Most "self-learning" systems can't do that.
