What supercharger are you using on it? If it's made for a truck, then you could probably use either style. If a a car style sc, alternator location on the truck timing cover could be an issue.

I have a modified truck cover on the 2012 5.7 sitting in my cuda now. Plenty of room for everything with it, but I did modify the location of my alternator to use a car style intake with a gm style 92mm throttle body. Another nice thing is they are easy to delete power steering without a delete pulley.
