Until the ring lands are into the pin bore, you’re fine.

My first pump gas 400 block stroker motor(511 C.I. with a 4.25 stroke crankshaft and a 6.800 long rod) had the wrist pins in the oil ring lands with a ring spacer, it never used oil or contaminated the spark plugs either shruggy work
My current 400 based bracket motor has the same crankshaft with a set of 6.700 long BB Chevy type forged steel H beam rods with no issues with it either shruggy
I may have the piston build sheet some where on both of those motors, they are real short on the pin to bottom the of the piston skirts, real short up
The first set of forged Ross stroker dished pistons weighed 456 grams without the wrist pins or rings and including the oil spacer rings in the pistons boogie up
