I have a couple of Mopar Performance plastic engine crates that were used for crate motors. They come with a stand to bolt the engine into, then fasten to the crate. I coat with oil then put plastic around it, then lots of dessicant bags and bolt the two halves together.

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.
